The new edition of Maker Faire Rome is about to begin and this time it will once again take place in the fantastic location of the Gazometro Ostiense.

Chirale, together with its partners from the Digital Innovation Hub of Rome, will be widely present, as in the previous edition, with lots of new things to show.

First of all, just like last year, Chirale will be the technical partner and content and technology provider for the incredible new stand of our trade association, CNA Roma.

This year we’ll have a truly spectacular location.

You’ll find us inside the Anfiteatro, in the exhibition area of the Gazometro complex.

As always, the talk programme — with morning and afternoon slots over the three days of the fair — will be unmissable.

There will be many themed events for businesses and a flagship event with — on stage, moderated by journalist Massimo Cerofolini — a panel of exceptional guests including the brilliant Massimo Canducci.

Artificial Intelligence will be one of the main protagonists and we’ll have several surprises for our visiting guests; but there will also be plenty of digital fabrication technologies and topics related to the 5.0 Transition, between digitalisation and environmental sustainability.

Our participation won’t be limited to the industrial world: you’ll find some of the innovations and inventions we’re developing with academia at the stands of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where our Artificial Intelligence technologies are applied to precision medicine.

You’ll be able to try in person the brand-new, innovative wearable device we’re fine-tuning in our labs right now. A sophisticated computer-vision system will recognise the foods on the plate in front of you and provide nutritional information and dietary advice.

If you have time, you can also undergo a chewing test by wearing one of our sophisticated biometric sensors and help us collect data to train the AI that powers the Metabolic Avatar developed in collaboration with the Metabolic Intelligence Department of UNICATT.

Surprises and food for thought will not be lacking.
