Haute Couture 4.0: Spazio Chirale Technology on the catwalk at Fashion Graduate Italia in Milan

On Friday 26 October, as part of the Fashion Graduate Italia 2018 event, held at BASE in Milan, the works of the students of the Master in Haute Couture of the Accademia di Costume e Moda of Rome — ranked 3rd in the world for this level of studies — took to the catwalk.

The entire collection was very positively received by the public and above all by the specialised critics, and in recent days a series of articles followed on the most important web portals of the sector — from Vogue Talents to The Fashion Propellant, whose article dedicated to the Roman Academy is available online.

The Milan event was in some way a debut for Chirale as well, which for several years has already been a sponsor of the Talents of Alta Roma, where the collections of the students of the three-year course are presented.

This year, in fact, we selected and sponsored some students of the Master-level course, offering them the possibility of producing — at Spazio Chirale in Garbatella — accessories and part of the dresses of their collections for the Final Work, making available the technologies of our Fab Lab, innovative materials and our know-how on processing — also involving partners of the calibre of Reschimica and Roland DG.

The constant research into process innovation and into the experimentation of new technologies of our Fashion Tech Division was one of the elements that allowed these young talents to best express their creativity, bringing to the catwalk collections that stood out for their character and spirit of innovation — drawing the attention of critics but also of the many talent scouts from the most important haute-couture maisons present at the event.
