CNA in Rete: official launch of the new e-marketplace built by Chirale
A digital platform, built with Artificial Intelligence technologies, offering SEO services and B2B matching to the businesses of the Rome Metropolitan Area.
Making it easier for businesses in the Rome Metropolitan Area to connect commercially, and helping them grow their presence on digital channels, are the two main goals of the new web platform built entirely by Chirale for the CNA Roma in Rete project, funded with the contribution of the Rome Chamber of Commerce.
The Trade President and spokesperson for the Digital Companies of CNA Roma, Stefano Capezzone, during the event held on Friday 25 March at the Talent Garden Ostiense Campus — where our lab is located — illustrated the features that make the new system a powerful digital-marketing tool, especially serving the micro and small businesses of the territory.
The presentation event, moderated by our CEO Leonardo Zaccone, with the participation of Maria Fermanelli and Stefano di Niola — respectively President and Secretary General of CNA Roma — was attended by more than 350 companies: 85 in the room and the rest connected on our streaming channels.
CNA Roma in Rete is a web system, accessible at this link, that allows the businesses of the Rome Metropolitan Area to create their own virtual showcase to promote their offer of services and products.
Unlike the many similar applications already existing in Italy, CNA in Rete is based on a data model that captures the distinctive features of each company, completely overcoming the limitations of ATECO-style commodity classifications and optimised according to the latest SEO (Search Engine Optimization) logic.
The combination of being a business directory and the SEO optimisation in the structuring of content increases the likelihood that the virtual showcases will be favoured by search engines, guaranteeing businesses — by simply registering on the platform — a level of visibility on the web that would be impossible to achieve with a normal website without the continuous support of digital-marketing specialists.
Moreover, through the use of Artificial Intelligence technologies — very similar to those used by the most popular B2C platforms to automatically propose content based on user profiling — the system facilitates B2B matching among the businesses registered on the platform, fostering the meeting of supply and demand and creating a real marketplace.
At launch, the platform already contained more than 3,600 registered businesses, entered through a long and patient census-and-data-collection work carried out by Chirale in collaboration with CNA Roma.
Starting the system with such a broad and complete data base is a key success factor for the initiative, since new businesses that register will immediately become part of a marketplace that is already very populated and rich in terms of offer.
All the businesses entered by our support structure have been informed and invited to manage their own data.
Registration and use of the platform are currently free of charge.
