The New Modalities for Laboratory Courses
From 25 May, in-person training activities will resume with a new format that includes distance study and individual practice, assisted by teachers, in our laboratories. Schedules will be flexible and chosen by the students.
From 25 May, in-person teaching activity resumes in our laboratories.
The Lazio Region’s Ordinance issued in recent days authorised the resumption of in-person courses for all professional, artistic and craft training schools — like ours — provided that the shared safety protocols on COVID-19 prevention are respected and that lessons are held in individual form.
We have therefore launched a new modality for all the courses we had had to suspend.
All those who had already enrolled in our courses are receiving in these days the credentials to access the new system.
For some weeks, in fact, the new e-learning platform of Spazio Chirale has been online, and by the end of next month it will contain our entire training offer.
Each course has been structured into lessons and topics in order to virtually reproduce the experience of our laboratory formats.
Each course includes several hours of video lessons shot in our new multimedia studio at FabLab Ostiense. All videos are in high resolution, with formats ranging from 4K to the lower Full-HD, depending on the case and the didactic needs.
Through the e-learning platform it will be possible to track your progress in the course and take tests to self-evaluate your learning level.
Once you have watched the videos and consulted the optional supporting material attached to each lesson, you will be able to book access to the laboratory to carry out individual exercises, using our machines and our kits of components and materials, under the supervision of teachers.
The booking system will ensure that no more people are simultaneously present in the laboratories than the maximum number provided by our safety standards, which are much stricter than those recommended by the recent decrees and shared protocols.
For the coming months, therefore, there will be no rigid scheduling of course attendance, but each student can choose when to access the laboratory according to their own time availability and preferences.
From today it is possible to purchase our courses either in the e-learning-only mode, without the possibility of accessing the laboratories for teacher-assisted exercises, or in the more complete mode that includes access to teacher-assisted exercises in flexible hours.
Access to the e-learning platform will always be guaranteed to all students enrolled in the classroom editions of our courses and replaces the simple distribution of the teacher’s slides that has been provided so far.
By completing the tests planned for each lesson on the platform, it will be possible to obtain the course completion certificate.
