Spazio Chirale in the time of coronavirus
Never has it been more important to follow the indications of our Government and the health authorities. If possible, let's stay at home and contribute to interrupting any possible channel for spreading the new coronavirus. Production activities, however, are not stopped, and our FabLabs have also been reorganised to guarantee essential services.
The current health emergency imposes on all of us a radical change of our daily habits.
We are deeply convinced that the measures decided by the Government with the recent Prime Ministerial Decrees are adequate and timely with respect to the goal of minimising the contagion and the spread of the new SARS-COV-2 virus, through increased distance between individuals and the restriction of unnecessary travel.
Our company too has rapidly redefined its procedures and reorganised its spaces according to the indications of the health authorities, the Lazio Region and the Government.
All our courses and events have been suspended or postponed, and will resume, or begin, keeping their usual weekly schedule, on the first available date after the cessation of the COVID-19 containment measures.
Production activities have not been stopped, therefore our FabLabs Spazio Chirale and FabLab Ostiense will ensure manufacturing services for business users, small industries and artisans, in compliance with the stringent health regulations.
In the laboratories, daily disinfection of premises, furniture, machines and tools is already under way. All non-essential staff have already been put in a position to work from home in smart-working mode.
At Spazio Chirale, the simultaneous presence of more than three people will not be allowed, while at FabLab Ostiense the simultaneous presence of more than five people will not be allowed.
The minimum guaranteed distances may therefore exceed two metres.
We therefore ask all our clients to access the machines for real production needs, postponing non-essential processing.
In the meantime, we will take advantage of the greater availability of our FabLabs to produce and release online much content that we hope will be of interest to our audience — who have always followed us online too.
