First milestone of the e5PL project achieved

Released the Chinese-language portal dedicated to Asian SMEs that want to strengthen their presence in cross-border e-commerce.

With the release of the e5PL.cn web portal last week, the first phase of the ambitious project to develop the first fifth-party logistics platform — dedicated to cross-border e-commerce for small and medium enterprises based in China — has been completed.

The project, sponsored by the Italian company Servix — a leader in tax-representation services for Asian operators within the European Community — aims to implement an innovative model to manage e-commerce processes in an efficient and sustainable way, strengthening compliance with European regulations and countering tax-avoidance practices.

The newly published web portal is developed entirely in Mandarin Chinese and is installed on Alibaba’s “mainland” infrastructure in China.

Through the portal, even smaller and less structured economic operators have the opportunity to join the e5PL trading consortium — promoted by our client Servix — and access electronic services that enable the marketing of their products on all major marketplaces available to European consumers.

The second phase of the project involves starting a new company, just incorporated under the name e5PL Europe, which will develop and manage the integration with all the main e-commerce platforms operating in the European area, including Allegro, ManoMano, Cdiscount, Otto and many others.

The development plan will be supported by a series of technological tools based on innovative technologies, which we’re building together with our network of most qualified partners.
