RGB Light Experience does not stop: lights, sounds and workshops in the Capital

The RGB Light Experience urban exhibition, of which we are proud partners, has been completely rethought and goes on tour. Among the events scheduled, the workshops held by our teachers are not to be missed.

In these times characterised by distance and isolation, the Luci Ombre Association, of which we are proud partners, has decided not to stop, and the 5th edition of the urban exhibition “RGB Light Experience. Roma Glocal Brightness” has been completely rethought so as to take place at the height of its expressive possibilities.

In this terrible year, the Festival becomes an opportunity to respond, in the name of creativity, to the difficulties and disorientation we are all experiencing.

For four days, from sunset to deep night, two equipped trucks will bring every day to a different site all the works on the programme; the experience offered by RGB will allow the audience present and connected via live streaming to share an innovative vision of urban space.

Among the sites chosen, three will be at key points along the historical route the festival has proposed over the years, in the Pigneto and Torpignattara districts (East Rome): Parco Sangalli along the Alessandrino Aqueduct, which will host RGB on 19 December; a parking area in Pigneto on 20 December and the stretch of the Prenestina under the elevated arteries of the Tangenziale Est on 21 December. New for this edition, the Rampa Prenestina will be relit in the closing evening of the event, on 22 December.

These are suspended places, crushed between the loss of identity and a perennial state of chance and precariousness, condemned to neglect by chaotic urban development. Architectural projects that have had a troubled history and a significant impact on Rome’s urban planning, and that today — except for the Alessandrino aqueduct — are symbols of urban decay and poor use of public goods.

As every year, the programme is completed by a series of thematic workshops, among which we point out those held by our teachers.
